Ian's baptism: marked as Christ's own forever

Today was a special day for our family as we welcomed Ian into our spiritual community. We had Ian baptized at the Episcopal church that we first joined when we moved to Atlanta, the same church where Anna was baptized. Ian's godparents are old friends of ours from college. They were able to come from out of state as well as my parents, brother, and sister in law. Our close friends from in town joined us, too!

Ian wore the baptismal gown my grandmother had made for my father and his three siblings. It was beautiful (and it fit this big baby!).
