Ian is nine months this weekend and he is wild! He is into everything. Caught him playing in toilet water three times today. Finlay's food bowl is his ultimate party toy.
He is officially out-eating his sister. We are feeding him whatever we are eating, and he indiscriminately loves everything we put in front of him.
He had his first big accident last week. He dove out of his carseat and scraped his forehead up on the driveway. No major injuries. It's just a matter of time before he ends up in the ER. We joke that we are "just trying to keep him alive everyday."
He is finally sleeping thought the night. Months 3-7 were really rough because e was up eating all night. Now that his reflux is under control and we can pack him full during the day, he sleeps!
This year is flying by. I can't believe I am already trying to plan his 1st birthday.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Rob and I are swamped at work. The bad news about our lives is that all we do is work and parent. The good news is that we've cut out all the extraneous obligations so we have time to actually be parents. The weekends are full of domesticated bliss that includes a 6:00am rise and shine courtesy of the kids, lots of honey do's, and playtime. The weather has finally warmed up so we had a picnic at the park yesterday. Anna and I spent a lot of time outside with chalk, while Ian tried to eat some (chalk). Our yard has just been leveled and the new landscaping that Rob spent so much time planning looks great. Kids are going to bed at 7:00-7:30 so Rob and I actually have some adult sanity before bed.
All in all, our lives are really great. It's not always easy, but if our biggest problem is how many cups of coffee to drink in the morning, life doesn't get much better than this.

Anna these days
Anna is in an exceptionally obedient, sweet phase. She is so dear. I just want to store up all this sweetness for when I will really need it ten years from now. Here she is in her school's Dr. Seuss parade, at Atlanta valley's princess tea, and with her best friend Scarlett at a play.

Field trip!
I took the day off to chaperone a field trip for Anna's class. Apparently, so did all the other parents. There was a 1:1 ratio of kids to chaperones! We had fun exploring the natural history museum. Anna's favorite parts were having a picnic outside and the photo booth. She is terrified of the dinosaurs and wants nothing to do with them.
