We're having a little pepper!

We're so excited to announce that we will be adding a little pepper to our family! I am due August 6th, a month after finishing residency. After getting over the shock, we are really excited, have bought a million baby books, started eating right, and are trying to sell our condo and buy a house, etc. We've already started looking at cribs, stollers, car seats, pumps, etc. What a lot of stuff for a little person! We are open to any suggestions from experienced mom and dads!

We surprised our families at Christmas with the news. I think everyone is looking forward to having a baby around (except for Finlay, he's going to have to learn to share). We are definitely going to find out if we're having a girl or a boy. As someone special put it, "We've got monogramming to do!" Here is the first of many "bump shots." No baby-bump for now, just trying to appreciate my waist line before it disappears for a while!
